The French Connection film followed Robin Moore’s true crime book that documented the exploits of famous New York Police narcotics detectives Eddie Egan and Sonny Grosso. In this episode Gary and Arron examine the real story behind how these two detectives exposed the largest heroin ring in New York City.

        They should really do a follow up on this with ” The Men Who Stole The French Connection” – Vinny Paoa’s crew with Anthony Loria, Virgil Alesi, Dinapolli, Cirillo, et. all the Luchesses wise guys who stole all that sized dope and replaced it with flour….Now that’s the real story!!!
