The Prom relationship never was; he was more of a bodyguard. Carlo Morelli grew up in Chicago and was a fly on the wall to many Outfit activities. Carlo had an uncomfortable confrontation with the most feared mobster in Chicago and lived to tell the story.
Carlo Morelli first encountered Tony Accardo at Meo’s Restaurant. He had become friends with Trip Meo, the wife of the owner, Charles Meo. Tony Accardo and Paul Ricca used this location as a place where they could always be found, and they conducted many meetings at a corner table.
