The Great Ship’s Annunciator Caper

Here is a real change of pace for you. A real whodunit mystery we got to solve. As Joe Friday once said, “My partner and I were working the day watch when we got a call to meet the sergeant back at the office.” We were assigned to work the theft of an art object. The victim, Tom Beal, had purchased the brass clad ships’ Annunciator from the Queen

Elizabeth.  We learned this item had disappeared from the lobby of Mr. Beal’s office. As you can see from the photo, this was the device that sent a signal from the Captain’s Bridge to the ship’s Engineer, directing the speed desired. Well, listen to this exciting story to learn whodunit.
